Miranda Baker Film and Theatre Professional

Miranda Baker is an emerging Nisga’a writer, director, and filmmaker from Prince Rupert, B.C. She is most known for her work in youth theatre, with her original work being performed in theatrical festivals festivals throughout British Columbia. 

Miranda holds a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Creative Writing from the same institution. A lifelong fantasy fan, Miranda’s speciality is Indigenous Speculative Fiction. Using her skills as a theatrical director, choreographer, and photographer, Miranda crafts worlds that merge magic with the strength, heart, and spirituality of her community.
